The Finnish Society for Environmental Sciences is organizing a conference on Environmental Sciences, including topics in Ecotoxicology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Risk Assessment and more.
Finnish Conference for Environmental Science will be held on 22nd May at the Conference Center Pasila, Helsinki.
The conference is aimed at academic researchers, students, industrial scientists, as well as government and local government employees.

Call for abstracts and registration for the conference is open, with deadline at 17th April 2025. A max 250-word abstract should be submitted via here. We accept abstracts of any topic within environmental sciences. Students and early-career researchers are especially welcome. Best student speedtalk will be awarded a 100€ price! Deadline 17th April 2025.

Registration fee is 10€ for students (MSc and PhD) and 40€ for other participants. The conference is free for student members of FSES. The fee includes the program, lunch, coffee and a tour to ECHA. The society will award a 500€ prize to the best Environmental science Msc Thesis (Msc
between May 2023-2025) at the Finnish Conference for Environmental Science, 22nd May 2025. Please contact Suvi Ruuskanen (suvi.k.ruuskanen@jyu.fi) by 1st May 2025 for applications.
Parallel to the Finnish Conference for Environmental Science, the Nordic Pesticide Residue Workshop will take place from 20th to 22nd May 2025 at the same venue. Registration for this meeting includes also programme of the Finnish Conference for Environmental Science. Please see the Finnish Food Authority website for the program. For registration to both events please register at the Finnish Food Authority website. The registration for the 3-day event is 120 €, which includes get-together event, coffee breaks, lunches and dinner). The registration deadline is 17th April 2025.
