Conference VenueThe Conference will be held at the Adult Education Centre, Kirkkokatu 16, Lahti.
Lahti is located by Lake Vesijärvi about 100 km (1 hour by train) northeast of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Lahti is the gateway to the Finnish Lake District, well known for its nature beauty where inland waterways dominate the landscape. Lahti is dynamic economic and industrial centre of Päijät-Häme region with about 100 000 habitants. Lahti provides an excellent setting for congresses and seminars, thanks to its wide range of hotel services and support facilities.
There are excellent bus and train connections between Helsinki, Vantaa International Airport and Lahti. The hotels are in a walking distance from the Conference venue.
